Register for Envirothon
Registration for the 2026 Ontario Envirothon will open in early 2026.
Envirothon teams will participate in in-person regional events testing their knowledge on the materials provided here. Teams will vie for a spot to participate in the provincial competition, where the top teams from each region will be invited to compete.
For a listing of regional areas please see our map. If your school is not in an area with an active in-person regional event contact us at envirothon@forestscanada.ca
Participants can register teams in the Ontario Envirothon as part of the following:
- As a team of 5 students from the same school or community organization who love science, the environment or being outdoors
- As part of regular classroom study
- As a special project
- Through an extracurricular club (E.g. Environmental Club, Outdoors Club)
- Part of a community group
As part of an Ontario Envirothon team you will:
- Learn about environmental science;
- Contribute to community science projects;
- Develop innovative solutions to environmental problems;
- Gain exposure to career opportunities;
- Connect with environmental community in Ontario.
