Webinar Series for Grades 6-10: Wildfires in Canada

Wildfires in Canada are becoming more frequent, more intense, and more destructive. Please join us for our free Forestry in the Classroom three-part webinar series for grades 6 through 10, to learn about what wildfires are, how they happen, and what can be done about them.

Each webinar will include a 30-minute interactive virtual presentation via ZOOM, followed by 15 minutes for attendee questions.

In part two of our webinar series held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, we learned about the different types of wildfires and what happens after a fire, including wildfire recovery and restoration. Stay tuned for the webinar recording.
