Envirothon, the international team-based learning competition for secondary school youth, marks its 30th season in Algoma.
The partnership of Algoma District School Board and local organizations has evolved over three decades, delivering an outdoor learning experience of lasting value to thousands of students.
Volunteers contribute time and expertise to deliver and enrich the Envirothon experience. Thirteen organizations currently comprise the growing Algoma Envirothon partnership, each instrumental in sustaining the annual program, some since its inception in 1995.
The 30th Anniversary is a time to celebrate the success of Algoma Envirothon and an invitation for continued volunteerism and community support to the annual event.
