Welcome to Growing Our Future – Forests Ontario’s first virtual conference

The 2021 Forests Ontario Annual Conference will take place virtually February 3-5, 2021, offering three days of amazing sessions, interactive exhibits, and exciting networking opportunities. With the theme Growing Our Future, we will explore our successes and ambitions in support of a healthy planet.

We’ll host the event on Ontario-based EventMobi’s Virtual Event Space. EventMobi’s user friendly hub will host sessions, virtual exhibitor booths, networking opportunities, and more.

Prior to the conference, registered attendees will receive an email with instructions on how to log in and set up a profile. User profiles will be your event networking tool. We encourage attendees to upload a photo and add a short bio, contact information, and any social media handles.

All sessions will take place on the virtual main stage. The online agenda will detail the timing, speakers, and overviews of each session. When a session starts, attendees join the main stage to connect to the live feed. Have a question during a session? Attendees can anonymously submit questions or upvote an existing question so speakers can answer.

Networking has always been a large part of Forests Ontario’s Annual Conference. This year is no different. You can view the full list of event attendees and connect one-on-one via an instant messaging or video chat function. Attendees can also engage with sponsors and speakers between sessions.

The pandemic may have pushed us online, but we can still have fun. Our play-to-win activities encourage attendees to gather codes through networking opportunities for a chance to win amazing prizes. Plus, on Feb. 4 you can join our Trivia game during your lunch break.
