Renewal Starts With You

Each April, new life returns to Canada’s forests, and with it comes a renewed sense of connection to nature for me and my son. Seeing him explore the first hints of spring and imagining the transformation to come reminds me of just how much our forests help to ground us, inspire us, and sustain us.

At Forests Canada, April also marks the beginning of another planting season, and with it, the start of Earth Month – a time that invites reflection, hope, and renewed commitment. As we prepare for future restoration projects and return to care for past planting sites, we’re proud to play a part in helping Canada’s forests thrive.

I know this work matters to you as deeply as it does to us. Your commitment to healthy, resilient forests is what makes our restoration work possible, and we are truly grateful to have you as a vital part of our forest community.

Because of your support, we are turning action into measurable, lasting impact. Together, we planted more than four million trees across Canada last year – the equivalent of almost 13,000 hockey rinks of new and restored forests!
